It is currently rather difficult, at least in the case of France, for students to go back home safely after being out late in the night. There are very few mobility solutions past midnight, and when a safety or healthcare problem happens during homecoming, it is much harder to find help once most people are asleep.
This all might change with the arrival and spread of Smart Cities. Thanks to the technological leap that they will bring, it will be much easier to monitor what happens in the city at any given moment.
Our product, called Guardian Angel, will take advantage of these incoming technologies: it will be an autonomous (AI-driven and AI-optimized) public transport with advanced technology, capable of moving through the city during the night in order to make night urban mobility much more present and convenient.
Guardian Angel’s target market is very simple: it is the perfect solution for those who are not able to drive (because they don’t have a car, or are too drunk…) late in the night.
Most of the people that fall into this category are students willing to go home after a party. This is the reason why the marketing strategy would be oriented towards young adults.
Guardian Angel would be an application that allows you to call for an autonomous bus to pick you up right at your party’s location, and leave you right in front of your home. Using advanced AI technology, a whole bus fleet would be optimized in real-time so as to be as fast as possible while satisfying as many customers as possible.
The buses would be equipped with the latest monitoring technology, in order for the authorities to react extremely fast if someone’s security is jeopardized, as well as healthcare sensors to detect anomalies such as alcohol comas, in order for the emergencies to be warned instantly.
It would be the most perfectly safe and convenient way to return home during the night!

Let's now talk about the features of the bus. OIt is completely autonomous and electric. It offers maximum comfort as it is spatious and well ergonomically designed. It is modern and classy, this is not a random public bus, this is a going-out bus.
Since you are coming back from a party, you might need water or a feeling-sick bag. Well, don't worry because once again, your guardian angel is here for you.
To get on the bus, don't forget to flash you QR code ! That allows the bus to know who is on board at all times and which stop it actually has to make.

Uber: Uber is the fiercest competition of the Guardian Angel because they assure sasfe return home as well. However, it is just like a taxi
service: there is no carpooling, it is not autonomous, nor is it electric. Therefore, it is not a direct competitor. Furthermore, the
Guardian Angel is meant to be way cheaper, and consequently accessible to students and/or people with a low income.
Bluely: This is another competitor because it is a private car service. however it is still not a direct competitor because users
have to drive themselves, it is therefore not adapted to people coming home from an evening out because they may have drunk alcohol and be
too drunk to drive.
Night buses: night buses do exist in some towns, but they run rarely and often only on the week ends. The goal here is to prevent people
from waiting outside for a bus.
